APAP vs. CPAP question

Post by MastrHiram » Sat Aug 03, 2013 10:36 am

Hi, everyone. I managed (thanks to advice from this board ) to get my doctor to prescribe me the APAP machine I wanted. The thing is, the doctor prescribed a straight pressure of 10 cm of H2O.

My question is, will I get myself into a problem if I switch the machine to AutoSet mode?

Thanks.

No.

If you want to try auto ... I'd try 9.6 - 12 ... Do you have software (SleepyHead) to see what it is doing?

Yes, I have both Sleepyhead and ResScan. Unfortunately, I don't know what I'm looking for to know what adjustments to make.

Thanks for the reply.
