Resmed S7 cpap

Post by BILLLEADBEATER95404 » Tue Jan 01, 2013 11:18 am

I inherited a Resmed cpap S7 . I want to use it at my daughters address ,as a spare, in NC. I live in Florida. The pressure is too high and I have been trying to reduce it from blog information .The display only shows "ramping" and settings for altitude. Can anyone help me, please? Bill.

http://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-p ... tup-manual

Check out the above link. Scroll down to almost the bottom of the page and follow instructions for requesting the clinical manual for the S7 machine. The clinical manual will have detailed instructions on how to get to the clinical setup menu to make your adjustments you want to make.

THANK YOU PUGSY! Sorry that I was lost in finding your valuable info. After reading the manual I may need a Ph D to figure out how to do it. We older people need simpler instructions and setting up procedures! Thank you, again. Bill.

I had a S7 bilevel machine for a short while. It was a royal PITA to try to figure out how to get to the clinical setup area.
Not many S7 users on the forum but if you still can't get it set to what you want if you will post and explain where you are lost maybe someone can be more specific with the instructions. I have slept too many nights to remember how I managed to do it with the S7 I had and it is long gone to someone else.

B~404,
This should help: To enter the CLINICAL Menu, press and hold both the down key and the right key for a few seconds. It will say welcome to clinical menu. Press Left button to enter menu, then again to enter SETTINGS. As you scroll down in the settings, your pressure settings menu will come up (mine says pressure min, then pressure max). To change the value, press the left button to make the change, then scroll to go to the # value you want. Mine changes 0.2 per click. When you have it set the way you want, click EXIT a few times and it will be ready to go.
