It took me months to find this out, but my local sleep center (if you got your study there) is like a Masks-R-Us. They don't sell the masks, but help with adjustments of current masks and even let you test different ones. They will even hook you up and test for leaks etc. Additionally they will let me take a mask home and test it out for a few days. Not all sleep centers are so equipped, but it might be worth a call as your script is probably written as best fit.

Nasal pillows for different masks fit everyone differently. My husband has the Aloha and I tried his spare mask with the medium pillows. It didn't fit me at all, but I can use the Swift FX and Swift LT. I think I will try the Elan next.wildflowertx wrote:John, you're welcome....you Yankee! I hope the Elan works for you.
Kimberly, I actually started with the medium pillow on the Swift FX since I have kind of a big nose and that's what I'd had in the sleep study. But after the first few nights it seemed too big -- leaks -- so I went to the small. It seemed to fit better at first. But I still never could get it to fit quite right without sticking the pillows in the nostrils a bit even though I'd read here they shouldn't be, the seal just doesn't work for me I guess. Maybe it's the big nose.
