hi julie, (thanks for putting up that link)
hi everyone..
the leaning forward and tilted down a bit I will try to explain a little better..
I use either one thick pillow, or two slim ones, you can also fold one, and I learn my face half of the" pillow cliff"and tilted forward a bit,
and gravity pulls my tongue forward and it lands on the back of my front teeth.. this is what causes my positional apnea..
I can lay on my side or partly on my side and stomach, or on my stomach, but if Im on my stomach I have to use more pillows.
I never tried the tennis ball thing, doubt it would have worked for me either.. maybe if you have short hair you can wear a tennis type headband and stick
something in the back of it that would not be any fun to sleep on so it would keep you off your back..
Some folks have different positional sleep apnea, not always on their back, but mine was classic, and the sleep study didnt show that at all. I had to figure it
out by trial and error and with amazing help of all the good people on this forum.
UPDATE! hair clip DID solve my positional sleep apnea!
