OT, Sandy Path people

PST, You have a point, but I don't think anyone was thinking about public opinion
when the chads were going every-which-way in Florida 12 years ago.
There was an article where big storms close to elections tend to favor the GOP.
Trust Nature to disenfranchise the poor--just another insult on top of everything else.
You know there are folks hoping there are very few people with the gumption to trek
through wind, rain and snow to vote. We will see how it shakes out.
Maybe our poor are made of sterner stuff; or perhaps they are just as wussy as their detractors claim.

Hoping the best of wishes to everyone who was in Sandy's path (or even near it).

Being in Hurricane Alley, I know what these storms can do.

And it may even be worse for you guys who did not know what to expect or how to properly prepare for it.

You are all in my thoughts & prayers.
