Zeo Mobile on Groupon for $39 + $5 shipping

Haven't been around much here recently, but thought folks might like to know Groupon has the Zeo Mobile for $39 + $5 shipping, plus tax if applicable for the next couple of days.

I bought a second one that I'll toss in with my sleep travel gear - figured at this price, always good to have a backup. Cheers.

Saw that... been contemplating getting one. I've read the desktop versions are far more reliable and preferable. Have you found this to be the case?

No, it's been pretty reliable for me once they pushed out a software update somewhere around 4-5 months ago. Prior to that the app was crashing periodically in the middle of the night, you'd lose data here and there, Bluetooth was spotty, etc. Basically they put this to market too quickly and they got their heads handed to them on reputation, which is a shame given what this can do.

Nope. The software app is a free download to an Android-based or iPhone, although if you don't have either you can't use the Mobile.

What exactly does it do? And how do you use the data?

I have had some issues with the bluetooth. I have updated to the latest firmware. My Android phone is not on their "tested" list (HTC Thunderbolt from Verizon). The phone looses connection with the headband, and I need to re-pair the phone to the headband. The headband still has all the data for the night, and updates when I reconnect, so I don't loose any data.

This is an annoyance, but overall I have been pleased with the Zeo and the info I get from it.

I had been thinking about getting one, but wasn't sure at the $99.00 regular price. Saw the Groupon and Snapped it up! Can't wait to get it.

I was thinking about this too, but I'm also interested in getting the live streaming data via serial port, which the mobile unit won't do.

So - if hacking into the real-time data is of interest, be advised the mobile unit doesn't support that feature.
