Re: Need advice adjusting new wisp
I love the Wisp mask!! If I have a persistent leak (generally around the nose bridge area but occasionally around the cheek area), I loosen one of the side straps, lift the cushion up away from my face and re-seat it. That adjustment generally gets me through the night leak free. I also wipe the cus...

Re: Aliens visited again, UGLY night
They visited me too Pugsy. I did nothing different last night except eat a heavier dinner than normal about 6 p.m. ( I hadn't eaten all day and had a small steak and salad for dinner) and I feel awful today. I remember waking up a lot because I felt like I couldn't breathe. Might have been the apnea...

Re: Got Your Flu Vaccine Yet?
I got mine Wednesday at my doctor's office. It's the first time I've had the flu vaccine in seven or eight years. My arm did not get sore but I had nausea that night and sneezing/runny nose for half the following day. I started a new medicine the same night, so the nausea could have been from it. Af...

Medicare Advantage Plan MediGold
Hello all! I recently became eligible for Medicare and chose to go with one of the Medicare Advantage Plans, namely MediGold. I wanted to choose a DME close to me versus 60 miles away. I found one less than 2 miles from where I live and visited them yesterday with copies of my sleep studies and docto...

@ above
That may very well be true. All I can verify personally is that lowering the carbs has helped me lose weight for whatever reason.
Wheat could very well have been the culprit.

Re: Weight loss advice!?! - join in the fun
I enjoy a high fat, low carb diet too. If I had to put a name to my eating plan, it would be Atkins. I usually don't eat over 20 carbs a day and don't get hungry between meals. I am not, and have never been, a breakfast eater. I usually eat lunch around 3 PM and dinner between 7:30 and 8 PM. Before ...

Re: very off topic with a little sort of on topic
A year ago, I too lost a beloved pet . I cried for 3 weeks straight because I loved him like my child. My heart goes out to you. Time does make the loss bearable but you never forget how much they meant to you. I ran across this a few days ago and thought how very true it was: The one absolutely uns...

Try Miss Lily. She said she had an old one to give away for the price of shipping. Read her post (last one in the thread).

Re: Observation: New Mask and Grog
Interesting, Max! I suffer from "brain fog" too, have since I started Xpap 7 years ago and it really hasn't improved much. I have ordered several new masks and new hoses during that time, but never got a brain fog free day after using the new equipment. I occasionally DO have a good day but never ha...
