Good morning everyone.
Happy Monday
I asked this question before, and can't seem to find it now. NOTE: I'll bookmark this one.
For each type of event that's listed, what does the number in parentheses mean?
Thanks.

Re: SleepyHead Data: Events Tab
For each type of event the number in parenthesis is the total number of that category of event.
Within an individual category and you see a time of each single event flagged...the number in parenthesis is close to the event duration length on the Resprionics machines and is the event duration in ResMed machines.
Respironics machines do not actually score event duration like the ResMed machines so there is no actual true event duration number but I have found that the number in parenthesis for the Respironics machine is very close to the event duration if we zoom in an actually count the seconds. Mark says that in the Respironics machines these numbers are actually some type of marker. I have studied hundreds of these events and tried counting the seconds. It is hard to get an exact count because when we zoom in close enough to count the seconds clearly then we can't see beginning and ending of the event well....I feel that the number in parenthesis is close enough to event duration that I am okay with it. When I see a 45 in parenthesis next to an apnea....it is indeed quite lengthy and pretty darn close to 45 seconds.
