I used CPAP for 4 months. After using two months, had sleep study wearing CPAP. The results were some improvement. With only "some" improvement, I did not feel use of machine was warranted.
Through a radio sponsor for http://www.longevitymedicalclinic.com of which I am past patient, I learned of a nasal strip 8 months. I no longer snore and sleep soundly. Cost is only $20.00 a month, use once, no mailing fee. Check it out: http://www.ziezta.com

Re: CPAP USE FOR MILD SLEEP APNEA
If you believe that this works, please submit results of your sleep studies including the third one--where you wear the nasal strips.
You might indeed be the one in a thousand that may be helped.
You could also be feeling better because the cpap was helping you--
just not as much as the sleep study indicated--they are a difficult place to sleep.

Looks like what we call a "chin up".
Glad it's working for you.
Best of luck.
Nothing else to say.

If you had had a proper data capable machine you would have been able to track your progress and gotten a lot more improvement. Maybe you needed a better machine. Oh well it is your funeral. Did you buy good insurance while you could? because now you can't, being none compliant.cibet wrote:I used CPAP for 4 months. After using two months, had sleep study wearing CPAP. Spammer.
I will leave it unless someone else wants to remove it.
When will people ever listen that just because they use some snake oil thing to limit snores that it doesn't fix the sleep apnea part.
Same song, different day.....Not all sleep apneas people snore....not all snorers have sleep apnea....stopping snores doesn't mean that the sleep apnea gets stopped. So something designed solely to stop snores stands about as much chance as a snowball in hell in regards to making any difference with the collapse of the tissues in the airway. Especially some high price strips to help hold the nasal passage open....duh...the sleep apnea obstructions are in the back of the throat.
