Back from the DME

Post by macewa » Tue Feb 21, 2012 3:31 pm

We upped the EPAP number from 9 to 11 and left the IPAP at 22. We will see how it goes tonight and I'll stay at that a few days to see. Decision was to stay on the 2L of oxygen as it helped my desaturations. So, we will see and are playing it by ear. Even if I end up having to go back to something a little higher, if the new total face mask can handle the pressures, then I can deal with it. You have no idea how wonderful it was to wake up this morning and not have that horrid nose ache and head ache - to not fee like I had been hit by a truck.
