I haven't been tracking my data for about a year now. I had become completely OCD about my data so I decided to go cold turkey
Stopped by the other day and got motivated and got my CMS 50F oximeter out and downloaded the Sleepyhead software ( fantastic much better than Rescan ).
I searched and downloaded the latest software for the CMS 50F but I can't seem to get it to work.
Since the days of OCD about my data I have built a new computer using Windows 7 64 bit with a SSD C drive and I put most programs on D to save room on the small( ish ) C drive.
When I installed a driver it said it was using COM 5.
But I can't get the SO2 software to let me tell it which COM port to use.
When I connect the oximeter and set it to upload I just get a message from the SO2 software that no device is found.
I installed the driver in C drive but installed the software on D drive.
Does it have to be installed on C?
I tried deleting it and installing the original software that came with it but that didn't work either so I figured I might as well try to solve the problems with the newer versions so i deleted the original and installed the new sotware again.
Sleepyhead works fine but can't get the oximeter to work.
Any suggestions?

Re: CMS-50F not working?
Look for tutorial on the pulse ox store web site. I had the same problem and was starting the wrong program to extract the data.

Re: CMS-50F not working?
Thanks for the reply.
Got it working now.
When I went to install the latest software again this morning it popped up a message that a newer driver was installed and that I should remove the driver 6.4.
So I did and bingo it took off working!!
Bad news is that when imported into Sleepyhead it tells me I was desaturated 34.8% of the time and on the graph it shows I was clear down in the 80% range quite a bit.
I suspect that is why even though I use the S9 Autoset religiously and never take the mask off, I have a lot of daytime sleepyness.. some days are better than others.
I'm going to see about emailing screenshots to my sleepdoc.
I got a feeling I need to be on O2.
