Hey MaxD, just visited your facinating blog. Nice job you're doing. That CMS50E pulse-oximeter you're using sounds like a very good one. Evidently it has a memory card and, alternatively, a user could bluetooth his/her overnight real time data to a computer.
But what I would like to do is input my real time pulse/ox data in real time to my Resmed S9 AutoSet CPAP through the Resmed oximetry connector mounted on the rear panel of the Autoset. I know that will take some doing. I'm hoping that you or others in the Forum might be able to help with advice.
1. Do you have any ideas as to how to accomplish what I want to do (above) so that I can see my oximetry data (and pulse data ? maybe) on a ResScan detailed graph time sync-ed to the existing ResScan detailed graphs? (Their standard "Oximetry kit containing the adaptor cable and a finger pulse ox is priced at about $1,500 and isn't easy to acquire. Insurance coverage is problematic.)
2. Does anybody have any ideas as to how I might find the necessary mating (male) connector or the standard Resmed "S9 Oximetry Adaptor" cable at a down to earth price? Anyone have such a cable he'd like to find a new home for, please let me know via pm.
3. Want to tell us a little about the Zeo unit like how is it rigged to you, price, etc. and what use you might make of the brain wave data?
