Recycling used CPAP equipment

Post by BobWGDFFL » Wed Feb 15, 2012 12:33 pm

Since starting CPAP therapy about one year ago I've changed the type of mask I use several times. The used equipment was well maintained, and it seems like such a waste of resources to simply dispose of it all. Does anyone know of a program that could take advantage of recyling any of it?

You might contact Dane at the cpap library. His supply of masks is limited and some of the popular masks are in short supply or possibly getting tired and in need of replacement.

If the masks are like new, and you can sanitize them... you might offer them to forum members who are without insurance to take off your hands for the price of shipping. Just list them by brand, model, and condition and ask folks to PM you if interested.... you and they can negotiate the details of the transactions.
