F&P Infosmart Upload Data Problem

Hi all,

Downloaded Infosmart last night and tried to get it running, but have run into a snag....when I insert the USB stick, the "Connected" screen shows a box with a strange serial # across the top:

Serial: A&#x19........(continues on like that), and when I try to "Create Device", it report an "Error from Smartalk" - Error logging in device ICON 02xxxxxx (the last 8 digits of my machine serial #) into the server.

Anyone run into this issue?

OK...I may have solved the problem. I talked to the respiratory lab, and they said they have seen this before.

Solution is to delete the data structure/directory from the root of the USB stick and then re-insert it into the machine so it can write a new structure. I'll test it out later and report.
