Try out Masks
I did a search earlier on the site and it read that one could try out different masks from. Website and send them back if not satisfied...for $14.... Does anyone k now about thi...or...does any have a suggestion in how to try different asks at home? I love the advi.e on here but with my leak issues I would like to try masks in my home....is this possible?
Re: Try out Masks
Here you go... the popular masks have a waiting list though. I think he only has one of each mask to try.
These are all used masks that were donated to the cause. Dane doesn't bill the $14 until you are next on the list to try a specific mask.

Re: Try out Masks
[size=200]Hello there,
Yes I tried several mask and owned several until felt nasal pillows was the way to go. As when I sleep I wiggle all over the place and with nasal mask, that cost a packet! 200-300 dollars plus !!!! So if it busted on you get a replacement can cost a lot! With pillows I don't know it's there and I unplug hose when going to the loo and replug myself when ready snooze.
On yes in some countries they have a special scheme for those who have moderate or sever sleep aponea, they give you a machine to use under the condition you have use every night and maintain it well as what you signed on the contract paper, Oh yes I forgot to tell that include cleaning the filter!.I am on a scheme and I do not have to pay rental rates for my machine. Only thing that I had buy was mask and tube. Rest was no charge as I use them every night. As without I wake up terrible!!!!!!
Ask you sleep Dr about the scheme available in your country and if you qualify.[If you do you may be Albe to reap the benefits Good luck!!!! /size]

Re: Try out Masks
I have a local sleep center I can do this at fortunately. It is not as good obviously as trying it out at home but it is still great that this service is available to me.Aghousewright wrote:I did a search earlier on the site and it read that one could try out different masks from. Anyway, this is a possibility for you?

Re: Try out Masks
Through CPAP.com, the return insurance varies--sometimes it is worthwhile to get it and try the mask
--it just means the first one costs a bit more (still less than DME billing);
or you can return it and only lose the insurance charge.
Sleepweaver's insurance is free (compliments of Circadience)
My darling hubby was gifted a used mask from a kind friend
--which fit beautifully--the new one fits a little different, but still great.
