CMS50D+ and Sleepyhead 0.9.2-1
CMS50D+ and Sleepyhead 0.9.2-1
Can someone tell me if the CMS50D+ memory from previous night can be downloaded to Sleepyhead?

Yes. I download the data to SPO2Review and save it. Then I import it to SleepyHead.
Download the cpap data first. Then download the oximetry data. Change the date and start time to match the cpap time and save by clicking the disc icon to the left of the import options. The data may not show up until you exit and return to SleepyHead.

I believe you have to set the machine to record and then download it before you turn the pulseox off. Once you turn it off the data is gone.

The way my CMS50D+ seems to work is that whatever is in memory stays in memory until the next time that you hit record on. I can turn record off, and exit the settings menu, have the screen go black (off), perform any number of spot checks.archangle wrote:I believe you have to set the machine to record and then download it before you turn the pulseox off. When I want to retrieve the recorded data, all I have to do is enter the settings menu, take no action other than enter the menu. If you don't enter the menu, nothing will download. Plug the data cable into the device, start the SPO2 Review software, and it will happily download the last recorded data. At least that's how it is working for me right now, with data that I recorded a couple of days ago.

Yes, I can turn mine off and back on and the data is still there. You do have to turn record off or the program will sit there saying waiting for data.

I will have to play with mine when the person I loaned it to returns it. I've managed to lose the data on it several times and haven't been able to get old data back. Maybe I'm just not doing it right.

I have found it difficult to download data since the oximeter shuts off after a few seconds. It seems to download fine and not shut off if you go to one of the menu's before you download. Hope this helps.
Re: CMS50D+ and Sleepyhead 0.9.2-1
I downloaded it to SPO2 review but I can't import it to sleepyhead. The file is in the data folder but when you browse for it from sleepy head and I get to the data folder it shows the data folder empty. I right click and check to show hidden files and it 's still empty. I know it's there but just doesn't show from sleepyhead.

From SleepyHead, are you setting the download folder to the C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\ SPO2\Data folder? I had to change it from the D: that SleepyHead downloads CPAP from.squid13 wrote:I downloaded it to SPO2 review but I can't import it to sleepyhead. That was what I was using but it says the data folder is empty and it is empty. Where the data is at is C:\MyName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramFiles(x86)\SPO2\Data When you check that location it's there but when you browse to that location from SleepyHead it's empty.DrPepper00 wrote:From SleepyHead, are you setting the download folder to the C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\ SPO2\Data folder? Re: CMS50D+ and Sleepyhead 0.9.2-1
That sounds like a temporary location. Did you close SPO2 Review before you opened SleepyHead? It might not write it to the final location until you close.squid13 wrote:That was what I was using but it says the data folder is empty and it is empty. Well thats how the CMS50E behaved if i remember correctly.archangle wrote:I believe you have to set the machine to record and then download it before you turn the pulseox off. Once you turn it off the data is gone.
Re: CMS50D+ and Sleepyhead 0.9.2-1
I have a CMS50D+ and that's where SPO2 Review downloaded it to. Like I said I can browse to that location from SleepyHead and it shows the data folder empty. When I go to that location in the computer the data folder has the information. It just doesn't show in SleepyHead. No problem downloading it to SPO2 Review closed review before trying to SleepyHead.

Re: CMS50D+ and Sleepyhead 0.9.2-1
Squid, I had that problem and I think it was the "permissiosn" that were assigned to the folder. First the contents were hidden and then I had to change the permissions or rights on the files/folders to access them. Hope that helps but I don't remember the specifics now.
