I'm trying to get a "connector seal" for my humidifier. This is the part that seals the tank to the main body of the humidifier. So far I have two options:
1.) have the original supplier of the unit send it back to ResMed for repair (and they'll send back an estimate, and I'll decided from there, and I'll have spent a couple of weeks without the humidifier - unless I can get a loner - and on, and on , and on... Or, at least that's what I suspect.
2.) buy a new humidifier (fortunately insurance will pick up most of the cost), but
All I really need is the part, but there doesn't seem to be way I can get just the connector seal.
Any suggestions? Someplace I can get a used unit (real cheap), with the part still intact.
Part(s) for a Resmed H4i humidifier
Re: Part(s) for a Resmed H4i humidifier
You might call these guys...they work on cpap machines and they might be able to tell you where to get the replacement part.
copied from another post where someone was in need of machine repair.
"""This is Ian at Accurate Biomed Services. We would be happy to assist you in the repair of your machine. If you would like to give us a call at 800-376-5660, we can make arrangements to get the unit fixed. """"
He is forum member "accurate"...in his signature line is a link for their website.

Also secondwindcpap.com sometimes has used humidifiers fairly reasonable. I just looked and didn't see the H4i but you might give them a call.

Is this the part you're looking for?Looking4Parts wrote:I'm trying to get a "connector seal" for my humidifier. This is the part that seals the tank to the main body of the humidifier. So far I have two options:

Re: Part(s) for a Resmed H4i humidifier
Unfortunately, no, the top cover lid with seal isn't the part I need. I need the seal where the "back" of the tank connects to the main body of the humidifier. But thanks for the info.
Thanks to Pugsy for the places to try. I sent off a couple of emails, but I don't expect to hear anything till next week.

I also am looking for that same connector seal. Any luck at all?
