Pediatric question for DeltaDave
Dave,
Could you please PM me or post the name(s) of good pediatric sleep doctors for a second opinion on our child? We're looking for people who are aware of the current limitations in how kids are currently being tested, and are testing sensitively enough to pick up SDB; but we don't want false positives either. If they have rigid criteria, such as requiring oxygen desaturations or other very conservative criteria that cutting edge researchers in the field of pediatric sleep medicine are recognizing are inappropriately conservative for kids, that's not what we're looking for. On the other hand, we don't want our kid on CPAP if it's unwarranted. Big researchers in the field who meet the previous criteria would be best. I hope I'm explaining this well.
Thanks!

Seriously, do you think Carole Marcus would be good second opinion for what I'm looking for? Would Ronald Chervin?

Seriously I think she is fine if you want someone from a different lens as opposed to the palo alto network.
