That means "Let the buyer beware" in Latin.

If you want anyone to take your offer seriously, you'll have to tell us what you have and how much you want. And for your information...this forum consists of the most well educated cpap users around. They know what used machines are worth. If you want unreasonable prices...you'll have to go elsewhere.

Looks like Latin, Let the buyer beware I'm thinking.

ok this one of the bipap machines i am selling. I apologize for not giving info. I thought if people were interested they would email me.

Respironics BiPAP Auto M with Bi-Flex Model # 1051158

used top of line BiPAP machine. Aprrox 450 hours in over a 2 years. All original packaging and all components and 2 masks.

The Respironics BiPAP Auto M Series combines auto adjusting pressure delivery with the breath-by-breath pressure relief of Bi-Flex. Machine has Encore Pro SmartCard technology. Bi-Flex softens airflow at inhalation and exhalation, making breathing more natural and comfortable for patients. In Bi-Flex mode, patient-adjustable pressure relief is provided at the critical stages. BiPAP Auto M Series Bi-Flex Humidifer uses Bi-Flex pressure relief technology to provide CPAP humidifier therapy. This technology offers pressure relief at inhalation and exhalation to make BiPAP therapy more like natural breathing. By tracking each breath, Bi-Flex delivers pressure relief at three critical points in the breathing cycle: the transition from exhalation to inhalation, the transition from inhalation to exhalation and during exhalation.

******ALSO INCLUDES DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO CHANGE THE SETTINGS ON MACHINE--WHICH WAS OBTAINED FROM RESPIRATORY THERAPIST---NORMALLY THESE DIRECTIONS DO NOT COME WITH OTHER MACHINES******

I was asking $500.00 for it considering it comes with 2 masks. I dont think that is unreasonable for this machine.

Although the machine is discontinued, this is machine is in mint condition and I am also aware of what this machine goes for new. It has hours on it but the price is still a good price. If the forum feels that its too stout then please make me an offer and I will consider it.

The M Series machines are old technology and require the use of a special and very pricey card reader to go along with that smart card. I bought the latest (PR S1) model of this very same machine last fall for about half your asking price and it only had 30 hours on it and that included the humidifier and all accessories.

Unless someone happens to use whatever mask you are offering with this machine, then the masks are of no value to someone who might want this machine. Some masks are more expensive than others and might help your price point a little. They would need to be brand new and still sealed in original packaging to warrant top dollar. Yours are not.

While these machines and masks were indeed very expensive when new...the cold hard reality is that old technology significantly lowers resale value and used masks have little to no value.

Good luck to you though.

i dont know what card reader you are talking about, but this one does not require one. It works perfectly fine the way it is and doesnt need anything to turn it on. Although the masks are used they are still masks that are in good condition. Also this bipap machine has humidifier as well. I also asked for the forum to make me an offer. I am just trying to get rid of this machine. If someone out there is willing to give me half of what i want for it, then be it. I have no use for it and works like new. Ill sell it for 250.00. Anyone interested please let me know. The other bipap i will list as soon as i get info from my girlfriend and I will also post pictures of it.

Well I used a M Series machine for 2 years and I know exactly what those machines will do and what data is collected, what data is shown on the LCD screen and which special card reader is needed to use the software to obtain the data that the machine will collect.

Of course you can turn the machine on and use it without a card reader but without the card reader the only data that is available on the machine LCD screen is AHI average for 7 and 30 days...90% pressure and leak rate average for 7 and 30 days and hour many nights you used it for more than 4 hours. This is the way Respironics does all their machines. Their on screen data sucks.

Now it does have the Smart card and will gather more data but you need the DT 3500 Infineer card reader (nothing else will work) for the software to communicate with the Smart Card.
This card reader. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/Respir ... r-USB.html $79

You come to a forum where most of the members know these machines inside and out. We've used them for thousands of hours and we want to be able to access all the data that is available to us. Believe me I know exactly what the M Series machines will and won't do. I still own one. It is my backup machine since I got a new technology machine last spring.

Good luck to you. Someone here might be interested in having the machine as a backup if they are already using a M Series machine and have the card reader already.

Oh ok! Now I understand what you were talking about. I do not know if there is a card reader that was purchased with this machine. I would have to ask my girlfriend if she has that accessory. However, it does still turn and operates without any problems. It would definitely be a great backup machine, but if we do have the card reader it can be utilized as either primary machine or backup. The other bipap machine is a resmed sullivan papII

serial number 20030063088
its a sync with a Ti control
comes with tubing and humidifier (model number 9100D, serial number 108437) , and mask.
patient hours are 334.

What do you think of this model? Need feedback on this one please.

Sorry, the ResMed is quite old. Even with low hours it is going to be a tough sell for you.
I can't find the manual for it. It will be hard to set the machine and it is rather complicated. Not nearly as simple as the Respironics BiPap you have.
Unless someone here happens to be familiar with it and wants it ....it really has minimal resale value.
The Sullivan part of the name points to a real dinosaur.

That being said, if anyone in the forum is interested in making me an offer, please feel free to email me at jaimecuartas74@live.com. I just want to get rid of these machines for my gf.
