fitlife total face mask question

Post by Pap365 » Sun Feb 05, 2012 10:06 am

Hi all,
Just got the fitlife and am having difficulty with the hose coming off the mask when I roll over. Any suggestions?

I use this mask exclusively and have for a while. I sometimes have trouble with a mask when the plastic connection to the hose somes off of the swivel on the body of the mask. I just firmly push it back. I find that if a mask has this problem it happens now and then. Not every mask does. If the hose is sliding off the connector I don't know why. You did find the little plastic interface kind of piece that connects the hose to the mask didn't you? If you don't disconnect from the hose to use the BR during the night you could use some plumbers tape on the connection.

is this a good mask compared to other full face masks? I couldn't really get it to work and use mirage quattro which has low leaks

Is the hose lying down or hanging up?
I've detached my hose in the past, but not since using the hose hanging apparatus.

Lying down, I found down worked best for the Quattro ffm. I'LL have to try hanging it up. Thanks for the suggestion.

It was dark and I just osnapped it back on. I was wondering if it was defective or a quirk with this mask.

This is a total face mask meaning it covers your face from just above your eyebrows to just above your chin. So far it is very comfortable and #s look good. I hope you find a mask that works for you.

Does the Fit Life mask have an anti-asphyxia valve? I thought I read once that it didn't.

This mask does have an anti-asphyxia valve. Would it be legal to sell a mask without an anti-asphyxia valve?
