OT: Sad Story
Not related to CPAP really, but I know a veteran that retired from the US Navy in 2005 with 80% disability but thought he was still able to work and really wanted to keep working. He found good work, was able to afford his house. But now, the pain from his disability is getting so bad he is hardly able to walk or stand for more than a few minutes at a time. He is about to have to quit working, and he knows he won't be able to make ends meet and he will lose his house that he and his family has lived in for seven years now. He can't bring himself to quit, even though now he has to take morphine 3 times a day and norco six times a day just to be able to stand up and walk. He needs to and should quit working, but he knows as soon a he does, his family is homeless. What a sad story.

Does he qualify for social security disability? He should check in to it.

Re: OT: Sad Story
I'm working on brining a friend home. He wasn't in as bad of share as your friend but he issuffering mental stress and went overseas to help deal with his sisters estate. While dealing with that and burning through his savings his mother passed away and now he has been stuck half a world away without his friends and no way to fix it. He is also a vet.
