I woke up a couple of times with very dry tongue even though I had a new mask- Ultra Mirage FFM. Should this happen with a FFM? I ended up putting on my chinstrap over it and it helped.
Is the climate line hose supposed to feel warm to the touch? Mine did not feel any different than regular hose.
Even though I woke up for a few minutes a few times, my screen this morning said I used it 8.2 hours and my AHI was 1.0
I don't really feel rested.
Is there an option on this machine to see what my pressures were during the night?
I can't use the SD card for a month because the RT put a modem on the machine for a month that sends compliance reports to someone. This is a requirement now she told me. Anyone else have a modem required by Medicare?
first night on S9 AutoSet/ClimateLine Hose
Re: first night on S9 AutoSet/ClimateLine Hose
The dryness is from mouth breathing. You can try raising the humidity a bit and see if it helps. There are also special mouth washes out there that may help, check with your local pharmacist.
The hose doesn't really feel warm. If you coil it up and place it under a towel or pillow for a few minutes you should be able to feel a bit of warmth build up. It gives just enough warmth to keep you from getting rainout.
Ya done good for your first night. It can take days, weeks, even months to feel the positive effects of cpap. Be patient.
I don't know about the requirements for the modem, but I am sure someone will be by shortly to answer that.
