I had it once, like the worst case of food poisoning you can imagine.

Ended up in the ER for hydration via IV when I couldn't even keep fluids down =(

Luckily, for most folks, if you stay hydrated it does seem to leave a in a couple of days. Of course, those with immune system issues (very young, very old, other health problems, etc.) it can be very dangerous.

I got it once from a restaurant. Came down with it around 10pm. Spent the whole night puking and/or having diarrhea every 15 minutes. Worst night of my life! I couldn't drink anything at all... Even the tiniest sip of water just to wet my mouth made me puke. Urgent care opened at 10am, and by that time I was so dehydrated that they had to run 2 bags of IV fluids in. Took a full week before I felt good again.

Yowww!!! Would this mean no CPAP for a couple of days????

Two days of that without CPAP might kill me!!!

Here is one of the worst reports - http://thelambda.ca/tag/norovirus/

I really hate the 'bazooka bug'.
Had it once; never want to go there again.

Its commonly found in national health service (NHS) hospitals in the UK.
They can't control it despite closing wards and 1000's of beds a week trying to get it under control.
