Hi,
I'm getting my machine later this week, thought it would be a VPAP AUTO, but now seems it may be VPAP Adapt. I want to make an informed decision before I'm presented with papers to sign. Looking at the clinician manual the Auto appears to have more options than the Adapt, specifically the Ti settings. Doc says I need 'Adv therapy' so my choice of machines may be limited anyway, just want to understand the different technologies.
Does the Adapt have any timing settings to offset the E/I change? It has a cpap mode but no Apap as far as I can tell. I understand it exerts more control over breathing so I'm guessing it decides what the timing should be. I'm not looking forward to 'fighting the machine' .
What is the Respironics equivalent of the Vpap Adapt?
Sorry to keep asking so many questions.

Re: S9 VPAP Adapt vs S9 VPAP Auto
I think VPAP Adapt is a step up in complexity from VPAP Auto. It's an Adaptive Servo Ventilator.
Resmed makes an Auto SV Advanced that is probably similar, but don't take my word on that.
