Anxious about CPAP after surgery.

Post by trytrytryagain » Mon Sep 26, 2011 8:11 pm

I'm having surgery tomorrow on my hand, I will have NO use of one hand for at least a couple of weeks, then after that minimal for another several weeks. I am going to revert back to my Swift pillow mask as it is easiest to put on one handed. I am really nervous about this. I usually sleep in any and all positions all night. I'll only be able to sleep on my back, which is my least favorite. I'll definitely need the pain meds, but I am worried about the side effects of those too. Insomnia plus pain eeek. I just need to vent a little, I hate that everything I do revolves around this darn cpap crap. I know, I know it's the machine or I could be worse off, but it just gets depressing sometimes.

Posts are undeleted now. It looks like someone got a little careless about which of their identities they were they were posting under doesn't it? And then someone else helped them remove the evidence.

I made the modification to my post to a dot.
I would have deleted my original post but once someone else has replied in the thread..it cannot be deleted.
I suppose I could have spam deleted myself. I did not modify or delete anyone else's post.

trytrytryagain (3 trys) just last night registered and with this posting above is not the same as this person trytryagain with this thread about upcoming surgery. viewtopic/t69062/Anxious-about-cpap-after-surgery.html

Someone is playing games with us. Copying posts and using a newly created screen ID to yank our chains.
If I find I have inadvertently answered one of the spoofed posts by this game player I will remove my post if I can and if I can't I will dot delete it.

How was that hand surgery?

Hope you are now getting well and better. I had my foot surgery couple of months ago, pain is really disturbing. Can't sleep at night and sometimes can't be stopped by pain killer med. Hope you are doing well and fine with your hand surgery. Get well soon..
