CMS 50E oximeter used on win 7 .32 bit. on a Mac computer
I'm using my new CMS 50 E for the first time. The data uploaded into spo2 review & can be accessed perfectly. Three things that I am can't figure out.
Spo & Spo Review are installed on a mac computer using VM Fusion and win 7 .32bit ( ResScan software is kept here)
!- How do I view & access the data in spo2 ?
2-I can find the data but when I try to copy and paste it into a spare folder it doesn't copy. The file shows that it has data.
3- Is there a way to change the report into a PDF file?
The purpose of making a copy is to bring it into the Mac side for sleepy head software use.

Hi - doesn't work on Macs (says so on the website), but if you have an iMac and put in Windows with Bootcamp or Parallels, you can use it there.
Re: CMS 50E oximeter used on win 7 .32 bit. on a Mac computer
I'm sorry that I didn't make myself clear. The software is on the win 7 portion of my mac through the use of VM Fusion. Vm Fusion does the same job as
the two programs you mentioned above. With it I don't have to keep booting up my Mac computer to access it. Windows and ResScan like you said does work great on it.

Hi Bobby, I'll answer (3) first: get the free software pdfcreator, here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ . It creates a "printer" in windows that doesn't actually print, but save the file as a pdf file. I got it precisely so that I could save the reports from SPO2 as pdf files.Bobby269 wrote:I'm using my new CMS 50 E for the first time. The data uploaded into spo2 review & can be accessed perfectly. I don't quite understand (1). If you're in SPO2 you can see the graphs of the data.
For (2) the data is in the directory C:\Program Files\SPO2\Data . Each day's data is two files. To copy them to a mac folder you need to set up a shared folder in VMware. It then looks on the windows side like another disk. You use the usual windows methods to copy the files. What did you mean "it didn't copy"? It's possible that you set up the shared folder as read only. It needs to be set to read write.
Good Luck.

I have two icons for the software for the CMS-50E. Spor review uploads the data from the oximeter. The spor when opened shows a variey of screens. But
no data. How do I upload the data to this ortion of the progeram.
Thank you for the other answers. That's probable why I can't make a copy of it.

Bobby, There are two programs that came with mine (there is a third which is an uninstaller -- so I won't count that) -- the SPO2 Manager, which I've never found anything useful to do with, and the SPO2 Review, which is what I use to upload my data, view it and print it. It can also look at the old sessions which it's saved. I also use SleepyHead (which I recommend -- look at the posts on this forum about it) which can read the data from SPO2 Review when you point it at the Data directory.Bobby269 wrote:I have two icons for the software for the CMS-50E. Re: CMS 50E oximeter used on win 7 .32 bit. on a Mac computer
Hi
Discovered same problem. data can be seen in OPEN FILE MENU but not with explorer.
also they cannot be copied.
If u look close u will see a LOCK symbole on the file icon. i guess the data is somehow protected. WHY they protect MY data from ME ... no idea.
My problem is that I would like the data be displayed in SleepyHead, but SH can not find them as well.
BTW: SleepyHead gives u a nice online monitoring with ur CMS50E
Greatings, Tom

Sorry, forgot to tell
I used a W7 laptop - so it has nothing to do with MAC and/or emulation
