if the handbook doesnt tell you, type your heading into google, also look for a clinicians manual for it on net

If it is the Respirionics Solo Plus LX you can try this.

Maybe it's just me, but I find it irresponsible to make that information available to someone with no indication they have the understanding to make informed changes. There is a reason the instructions appear in the CLINICIAN'S manual...not the USER'S.

No, it "ain't rocket surgery"...but changing settings CAN be harmful if you don't know what you are doing. You might be putting yourself and cpaptalk.com at risk of liability. At a minimum, find out what kind of person you are dealing with. (In this case, the OP couldn't/wouldn't even follow the recommendation to join the forum!)

It's highly unlikely that even the DMEs have these old manuals anymore......they're into pushing the new stuff. The manual I copied the information from (and pasted in the other thread) is dated 1999.
We really don't know, but maybe this person actually had his doctor's permission to change his pressure and his DME didn't know how. I don't think we really know whether the person is intending to raise of lower their pressure. These old manuals haven't been available on Respironics' download website for about five years or more.

Agreed. More the reason to proceed with caution until we DO know.
