What next?...thank you for responding

Im so grateful for the responses, I am using a resmed full nasal/mouth mask my pressure setting is logged at 18 by the lung function nurse, she says it needs to be this high due to my severity.
My cpap machine is also resmed auto set spirit 11. They won't issue a humidifier until I can cope with more than 2hours a night.

They won't give you the humidifier until you use it successfully? That is total BS. It is the humidifier that makes or breaks it for many people that is why they added a humidifier! It helps the therapy by keeping a higher level of moisture (and warmer air) for your nasal passages thereby for most people increasing the comfort.

Also like the others I suggest you wear it watching a tv show you really like so you get used to the feel of the mask.
