I go to sleep on my right side and stay there all night. Do any of you side sleepers use the Contour Cpap pillow? The pillow that I use now is great for my neck
but most nights I wake up with a sore left ear. I can't find this item here in town, so I would have to order it.( it would be no return). I have seen some evaluations that say that it isn't for a side sleeper and many more that love the item. But no mention of how they sleep.
I would appreciate any feed back that some of you side sleepers can offer.

Re: Side sleeper and contour cpap pillow.( Sore left ear)
I'm a little confused as to why your LEFT ear would hurt when you sleep on your RIGHT side???
I have somewhat low set ears, and my ears hurt from the straps of the mask. It tends to ride up a bit and fold my earlobe. I haven't found a good soloution to that yet. It's one of the reasons I prefer nasal pillows, as the straps don't go anwhere near the lower part of my ear.
If it's the RIGHT ear hurting from pillow pressure, here's what I do. I have a regular contour tempurpedic foam pillow (NOT a special one for CPAP). It's got a neck roll on each long side, and the middle is sort of concave. My neck rests on the smaller neck roll, and the top of my head on the larger one, and my ear is sort of in the "valley" so there's less pressure on it. Plus, the tempurpedic foam gives even pressure. I also sleep on the edge of the pillow, so that the mask sort of hangs off the edge and doesn't get mushed into my face by the pillow.
Tempurpedic pillows like this can be purchased at places like Bed, Bath, and Beyond for reasonable prices. Another thought is to use a tempurpedic C-shaped neck pillow and put your ear in the center of the C, the mask in the opening, and let the C shape cradle your head and neck.

Re: Side sleeper and contour cpap pillow.( Sore left ear)
It appears that I was the confused one. It's my left ear. Very sleepless in Texas last night night.
