Help with CMS-50F Output.

Post by MJB » Wed Nov 17, 2010 5:40 am

Hi,
I need help with understanding my CMS-50F Output.

Is there something in writing that explains what the different readings mean?

How do I upload my output info to this forum page?

Are there qualified people on the site who can look at the output and suggest what is going on?

Thanks for the info...

to upload:

1.) save a copy of the report (try file, save as) as a jpg. Do it page by page.
2.) open an account at photobucket
3.) upload the jpg's to photobucket
4.) grab either the IMG tagged item or the URL tagged item and post that in a post. Personally I use the URL instead of the IMG as it's easier to read when things don't get cut off.

Presuming your are referring to the SPO2 software display......
  • The upper green graph, and left hand scale, shows your blood oxygen concentration level.

The lower blue graph, and right hand scale, shows your pulse rate.

There is a time scale across the bottom.
Refer to the SPO2 user mannual for more information on reporting etc.

Cheers,

Bill

Hi,

When i'm using my CMS-50F with my VPAP Auto 25 my summary report says that I have anywhere from 22-79 SpO2 events and 23-167 Pulse events ( this is the daily readings for 5 days in a row with 4 to 10 hours of monitoring.)
Is this usual or is my machine( the VPAP Auto 25) not doing the job it is supposed to?
I still feel tired, maybe not as bad but still not feeling rested when I wake up.
Thanks for any input.
Mike

If your SPO2 events result in desaturations below 90%, you have not eliminated the obstructions.

If your pulse events correspond to your O2 desaturations, then your desaturations are stressing your heart.
