PackItIn

Post by Slinky » Tue Nov 16, 2010 8:32 pm

Hi, I tried to PM you but evidently you have have disabled private message receipt according to the message I get when I try. I'm thinking that I would turn Bi-Flex off and set EPAP to 7 and IPAP to 13. But that is just a by guess and by gosh. I'm no medical professional by any stretch of the imagination.

Thanks, Slinky for replying.
Yeah, I did enable my PM capability. Sorry, I'm a little comuter illiterate.

I set the Bi Flex to "off" and turned the "auto" to "on". I decided to start at a pressure of 11/5.5 and work up from there.
My 7-day average AHI is already coming down (it is 5.4). (I've had the machine for 3 weeks now)

If there are any more tips anyone can give on how to use this new Bi Flex machine, I would appreciate any help.

Jay

Its Off. I'm not too sure what it does. Maybe I should try it. (I'm like a kid with a new toy)

I had the Autoset S8. (which I will now use as a backup)
I kept the EPR set at 1 and the pressure was at (12.2/7. with average AHI of 3.9.

Give it a try, you can always turn it off if you don't like it.

Keep in mind that 3 is the most and 1 is the least... Flex doesn't drop the pressure by a whole cm for each number, so it's slightly different than EPR.
