Hello again.

Post by Lee Lee » Tue Nov 09, 2010 6:16 pm

I haven't been posting much, but I do check the boards often.

My Mother, 80 years old, had a sudden stroke in June, (two days before anyone found her). She lived, but got worse and worse and died September 22. It was a horrible experience. At the same time, work was a nightmare, and I was fighting to keep my job during a corporate re organization.

Anyway, because of all this, I completely missed my 5 year anniversary of CPAP therapy! I just have to thank all those that have helped me and truly, without this board, I feel that I would not be around to celebrate this important occasion. I don't ever want to forget how it was then and how it is now. Yes, I still feel tired, and no, I don't always have a perfect night of sleep, but I'm so much better.

I especially want to thank Rested Gal and Den for their never ending support.I don't know how you guys do it. You're my heroes!!! And there are others who sent me masks to try when I was struggling. And there's all the folks helped me through my journey with getting my husband on CPAP therapy, and listened to all my whining. He's still not compliant, but now I get that it's his problem and not mine, because of all the advice and support.

Thank you, thank you! Here's to another 25!
Lee Ann

I am sorry to hear that life has been so difficult. Especially on your loss of a loved one.
I am glad that your therapy is going well.
I hope things have settled out for you in your life as best as can be expected.

Life sure can take you for a ride now and then.

I am glad to see you around.

I am very sorry about your loss. It is hard to lose your mom. I lost my mom in 1994 and still often think of her.

You were around when I was struggling and I often read your posts so I want to thank you -- I had my three year anniversary of being a hosehead this summer and do agree with you. Without this board I know my treatment would have been inadequate due to a "dumb" DME that tried to shove the wrong machine down my throat.

Lee Lee, honey,
So sorry to for your loss. I completely understand how hard the last few months have been for you, as my father passed away when I was dealing with a terribly difficult situation at work. Please believe me when I say things WILL get better for you.

I remember when I first started reading this board that you were one of the posters who helped me begin my cpap journey; thank you for that. Congratulations on your hosehead anniversary, and I hope your birthday is blessed.
