Need technical help

Post by xenablue » Mon Nov 01, 2010 10:42 am

I want to post my sleep study results, which I have in .pdf format, and hopefully have someone give it some meaning.

Would someone please point me in the direction of any instructions on doing this? I am able to convert the .pdf into other formats if necessary, just don't know how to get it here.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Xena..... If you convert them to jpg files, you can upload the images to a photosharing site like Picasa, Flickr, or Photobucket. Once you have them on there (in private mode), do this:

1. Open one of the pictures on the site in full size mode.
2. Right click on the image and you should get a menu on which Copy Image Location or Copy Image URL is a choice. Choose whichever you see...
3. Come here and open a New Post... Past the url in the edit box
4. Highlight the URL and then click the URL button that is in the toolbar above the edit box.
5. Click Preview under the edit box to see if it worked correctly.
6. Submit to publish

If you want to put more than one image in the same post, keep both windows open and go back and forth capturing and pasting....

Be sure you black out your personal info from the study.... name, address, etc. You don't want that seen by the world..... Looking forward to seeing your results!

Thanks, Emilia - yes first thing I did when I emailed the .pdf to myself

Success! Posted a new topic and it looks like it worked.
