I spent a few nights in a hotel recently and noticed my AHI was in the 2's which was very rare for me. I was curious what was different about the hotel environment that might have caused this, and Emilia suggested in this thread that it might be the pillow:

So, I bought a new pillow (Regenesis XL) and I've had it for 8 nights now. Check out my numbers for the past eight nights since I got the pillow, and the eight nights prior to getting the pillow. I feel a lot better, and the only thing I can attribute this change to is the pillow:
9/8 7:17 hours AI 0.1 HI 2.0 AHI 2.1
9/7 5:04 hours AI 0.0 HI 1.7 AHI 1.7
9/6 7:29 hours AI 0.1 HI 1.3 AHI 1.4
9/5 9:31 hours AI 0.1 HI 1.5 AHI 1.6
9/4 10:28 hours AI 0.0 HI 2.2 AHI 2.2
9/3 6:59 hours AI 0.0 HI 1.1 AHI 1.1
9/2 6:33 hours AI 0.6 HI 2.3 AHI 2.9
9/1 7:03 hours AI 0.0 HI 3.2 AHI 3.2
Old pillow:
8/31 6:12 hours AI 0.3 HI 5.1 AHI 5.4
8/30 7:46 hours AI 0.2 HI 5.2 AHI 5.4
8/29 8:16 hours AI 0.3 HI 7.2 AHI 7.5
8/28 8:09 hours AI 0.2 HI 7.2 AHI 7.3
8/27 7:24 hours AI 0.5 HI 6.7 AHI 7.2
8/26 6:44 hours AI 0.4 HI 6.8 AHI 7.2
8/25 8:50 hours AI 0.3 HI 5.4 AHI 5.7
8/24 7:39 hours AI 0.1 HI 6.6 AHI 6.7
I don't think there is something particularly miraculous about the Pur-Sleep Regenesis XL, simply because my AHI was low on whatever random pillow I used at the Hotel. I think my old pillow was just too thin for side sleeping and old and worn out That said, I do like the Regenesis XL a lot - especially for side sleeping. My only wish is that it came with more hulls - I find myself moving them all to one side of the pillow so I can make it thick enough that I find it comfortable. Perhaps if I got the regular sized pillow but with the XL quantity of buckwheat hulls
