adjusting ResMed S6 lightweight (no master sw or screen)

Post by MBoyd » Thu May 13, 2010 4:55 pm

I have an older ResMed CPAP S6 LIghtweight. I got it over 8 years ago and it has been great for my sleep. Recently my wife tells me I snore. I want to up the pressure, but the instructions I found on another thread here did not seem to apply to the "lightweight" as my machine does not have a master switch or a read out screen. It must be the Model T of CPAP machines. Following the other S6 instructions, I would just plug it in to simulate the master switch and hit the 10 button once for the next pressure increment?
Thanks
michael

Try this manual & see how you go.

PS - at one time I had an early S6 (called a CPAP B) & to set it I did pretty much what was in the above manual. But, I did need a manometer. But, I have also seen S6 units that could display on a set of LEDs or an LCD, the pressure setting. If you machine has either the leds or the LCD, you may not need the manometer.

PPS: I see the manual does specifically refer to the S6 lightweight (such as not having a master sw) so hopefully it will do what you need.
