Hi,
I'm new and just started therapy last week. I'm having trouble getting the GMT offset to work. It should be -6 for my time zone. Three days ago, I set the GMT offset to -6 in the provider menu, and that's what the machine display is still showing. But when I look at my compliance data in EncorePro, the offset has not changed. My times of usage are still shown in GMT, which means that if I wake up and stop using the machine at 7:15 am, EncorePro shows that I woke up at 13:15.
This sucks, because I'm not getting all the compliance credit I deserve. The machine stops counting every day at noon GMT. For example, if I use the machine for 4 hours 15 continuously from 3:00 am to 7:15 am, I only get credit for 3 h 15 min of continuous use. The limit for compliance is 4 hours, so that night will be labeled with red color in EncorePro to show that I wasn't compliant.
I was also wondering how accurate the internal clock is and if there's any way to set it to correct time if the clock is a few minutes off?
The firmware version of my machine is 1.70. I would appreciate any suggestions. Does anybody else have this problem? Thanks in advance,
John

Hi,
With the newer firmware (1.2 and above I think), you need to set the GMT offset in the software. From the topic linked above:
"To set the time zone in the Encore Pro 2.2 software, select Company Settings, then select the company name (Encore Company was the default in my software), then select the Offices tab. You should see the time zone that the software is set to there. Seclect Edit to make changes to the time zone and to the Daylight Savings Time option (DST Observed) if desired."
I used this hint and it worked perfectly, and recalculated my existing reports to properly show my time zone.
