You just can't stay away, admit it.
GUEST, who won't say who are are , I did admit it. If I get the link, I read it. I said that was my nature, and even apologized for it being so (not that I should have to). I started reading this thread to see what it was about and now when I get the link, I look. You've heard of "naughty by nature"? I'm nosy by nature.

I have every right to say I think this is NOT the place for political debate. Hey, after all that has been said here, that's one of the most harmless statements made on this thread. If it was a nice topic that was helpful, such as sending your unwanted xpap equipment to the poor victims of Katrina, then that's wonderful. But this seems to be getting a bit "Look, I gave a better response-nanny nanny foo foo" type of mentality and, quite honestly, in my opinion, it's unnecessary and ridiculous. Why are we fighting, and I think that's what it has become, over political issues here? Let's get back into the "help" or "kind" mode, instead of arguing over who did or didn't do what when it came to Katrina. All you're doing is pointing fingers and NONE OF YOU know the truth unless you were involved in the government who handled it as they did.

As far as I'm concerned, nuff said.

It is true that none of us know the truth! There are things behind the scenes that not even those who think they handled it are aware of.

And of course, "we wrestle not w/flesh and blood but w/powers and principalities" T

Now that you have had your say we all should be done. Might want to add controlling to the nosy bit. Others are entitled to opinions unless they are different than yours. Here in the USA we have the freedom of speach, maybe not in your country...

Obviously, a guest on this site. First of all, no one treats or speaks to each other the way you are speaking to me. Second, you couldn't be more inccrrect about your evaluation of my personality. Third, if you had the lower end, you'd identify yourself. So I take everything you say with a grain of salt as you said it as a coward, behind the mask of "Guest."

Hey Lori...Who knew Long Island is its own country. Guest has educated me...LOL this thread is getting so ridiculous even when a mean spirited comment is made it has me giggling....How's this idea, lets begin at introductions...Hello my name is Terry .... alls forgiven....lets get acquainted. Lets see, how about some self depreciating humor instead of aiming our barbs at each other....as I pick the cornsilk out of my Ohioan hair?

There once was a guest
came a surfin
who thought that this thread was a hurtin
for some succinct and scathing wording
waving the banner of free speech

Then Lori popped in for a word
and then her free speech was scourned
by guest who was totin
his verbiage gloatin
liberated words hurt kind Lori...absurd!

So free speech w/free speech they clashed
on each others toesies they mashed
so Terry came aimin
to stop all the blamin
and try to cut tension with laughs.... T

Hugs to Terry...the mediator. I won't give "Guest" another moment of my time. Like many have said, not worth the effort or energy. Have to feel sorry for him/her that all they can do is be nasty. Something bad must be going on in their lives to be that way. Sort of like that story you told of the boy who harrassed you in school. No one is mean because they're happy. So I will just chalk it off to one unhappy individual and move on.
Thanks, honey pie...

There once was a guest name of Sassy
whose comments were really quite brassy
But he couldn't help it
no sleep was he gettin
and so, like us all, he'd get nasty.

So JohnnyBGood hooked him up
with a brand new apap, the young pup.
Our guest started snoozin
His tude he was losin
And soon that dark cloud disappeared

Now Lori and Guest are a pair
A sis and bro hosehead who care
And he's known as friend here
No name calling from either,
As his new name is now "Guest Dear".
Terry

First of all, no one treats or speaks to each other the way you are speaking to me.
Sadly, they do. Take note of Rock & Roll's "KMA." Also, Spyhed's comment was the same. I do agree with you, none of us has permission or priviledge to speak to on another like that.

Then don't bait and use sarcasm like you do. Now quit crying and pouting, everybody knows I told you to KMA. Now go sit in a corner! Get over it! Geez

I'm neither crying nor pouting, and am fully accountable for my comments, as should you be.

Argue the issues all you want, and be sarcastic if you think it appropriate. Further, grow up, be a gentleman, and apologize for your unfortunate lapse into vulgar commentary that was uncalled for and inappropriate.

I won't apologise for it. I stand behind it. I don't regret saying it to you. IT was the perfect responce to the post I recieved from you. It says it all about what I THINK OF WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY. You are crying and pouting worse than a child, Mommie he told me to KMA!

What it says is all about you. I could never describe your sterling manner of dealing with conflict as well as you have described it yourself.

I'll take "KMA" any day over repugnant condescension, ridicule and dripping sarcasm. But then, that's just me.
