Guys,

I heard from my DME today and he said my sleep study on the Respironics Auto Bipap SV showed zero apneas in a 4 1/2 hour period and 1 hyponea event in 4 1/2 hours.

Maybe this new machine is the answer I have been searching for over the past 3 months?

The Resmed auto and Ellite only got me below an AHI of 20 a couple of times during the three month period. The numbers I got in my sleep study are almost too good to be true. What are the chances it holds up tomorrow night when I give it a try?

Thanks.

Been wondering how you have been. Good to hear from you.
I think the chances are excellent that this will continue to hold true for you. Good job.

Did they already give you the new machine yet?

Glad to hear you're finally making some headway.

Can't speculate on your last question, but should be much better than what you've been going through.

And I sure hope that your wish comes true. Please keep us posted.

It is a rainy dreary day here and I seem to be nothing but pessimistic so I will try not to rain on your parade. Given the way things were going with your other machine, I see no way but up for you. Just don't be completely disheartened if there are a few bumps in the road.. I have seen the "new woman" feeling a few times but not nearly as many times as I would have liked to. Sometimes there are just other things that mess with us besides OSA and we sometimes forget that... then add in the cpap thing and sometimes it likes to mess with us too..
