S8 Elite HELP needed

I'm hoping that one of you guy's can help me out, noone else has been able to!

I've been TRYING to turn on the "Auto-Start" function on my cpap with ~ZERO~ luck.
I recently sent in my "SmartCard" to my DME and asked them to program the card to turn it on. They said they DID program it, but it ain't working.

When I go into the Clinical Menu, settings, Auto start, all it says is "Off". It doesn't give me the option to turn it "On".

I spoke with a tech at my DME, and he said sometimes, it doesn't work with a certain mask, to try changing my mask setting. I did. I tried it with all the different mask options, and it STILL won't turn on.

ANYBODY, know how to fix this????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I think you can only use SmartStart if Leak Alert is disabled. Try turning Leak Alert off, and see if you can change the SmartStart option.

-edit- Yup, from the manual:

Note: When Leak Alert is set to ON, SmartStart/Stop is automatically set to OFF. SmartStart/Stop cannot be used with Leak Alert because, if a high leak
occurs, SmartStop may stop treatment before the Leak Alert signal is activated.

Also it is disabled if your mask is set to MIR FULL (Mirage Liberty Full Face Mask, Mirage Quattro Full Face Mask, Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask)
