Liberty Mask

Post by DNAClone » Sat Jul 04, 2009 10:14 pm

Hi,
I have been experimenting with the Activa LT, Swift Mirage II, Swift LT and Comfortgel Nasal and Quattro.
I finally found the right fit for the Swift LT but unfortunately my sinuses and allergies have made it difficult to wear all night.
I use a chinstrap and believe that I am still mouth breathing because my pressures keep trying to catch up to periodic leaks; not many bad leaks but enough to cause havoc.
I have decided to venture into the Hybrid/Liberty option because the Quattro leaked and was uncomfortable. I figure that the nasal pressure will be dispersed more with the Liberty or Hybrid and be more tolerable and a good compromise.
Does anyone know if the nasal pillows on the Liberty are similar to the Swift II or LT?
I am trying to figure out if I should invest in either the Hybrid or Liberty. Thanks.

The pillow part that fits against the nostrils look the same to me. I've got both right now. I've used the Liberty for a long time and like it a lot. Like any mask, it usually takes 3-5 days using it before you get it "fitted" just right for you. When my sinuses are clear I have been using the Swift LT. Like the LT the Liberty comes with all the pillow sizes.

Hope that helps.

Thanks. Glad to hear that the Liberty and Swift lT appear to have similar pillows.
I have read many reviews comparing the Liberty & Hybrid and it seems that the Hybrid is slightly favored overall.
It's a tough call because I really don't want to have to purchase both. Hopefully I will get it right with the first choice.
