I have a Remstar Plus w/Humidifier. I keep mine on the floor next to my bed, I noticed last night when I got up to go to the bathroom the carpet was wet I took out the reservoir and it has a small leak. Luckily the heater still works it didn't short out.
Does anyone have any solutions ? I live in FL so I'm not desperate for humidity, there doesn't appear to be any cracks either

Michelle....
Fill it up with water.....install it on the blower.....turn it on.....restrict the air flow so that the interior of the humidifier (where the water is) is pressurized....and note where the water is dripping out.
Take a close-up photo of the position of the leak....post the picture..... and let us know more.
Once we have more info, somebody is bound to know how to get you out of trouble.

I suspect it is the seal around the base of the water chamber. Do you clean it often? Do you take it apart to clean it? If you don't get it sealed tight on that metal base, when putting it together after cleaning, it can leak.
I have a machine with a humidfier like that. I use that machine and humidifier as a backup now but when I was using it regularly, I never took the base of the water chamber off to clean it (after the first few times) because it is so difficult to get back on tight enough. I just swished soapy water around inside it, rinsed it out thoroughly and let it air dry.
It may also be that the humidifier is older, has been taken apart to clean a lot and is not sealing well any more. You will need new water chamber in this case.
I can't see, from your picture, if there is a crack in the water chamber or not. If there is a crack in the chamber you need to get a new one too.

There are no cracks in the chamber, But I had an idea since I live Fl it's already very humid here I was thinking since I don't use the heater I would put a wet wash cloth inside the chamber that way I could get a little bit of humidity.
