Cycle States - Sandman Wave Forms Report

Hi

Sandman Software 1.4 on page EN-25 of their manual says -

Cycle state characterising variations in resistance of the upper airways

Does anyone know what this means in plain English, and if I did know what it meant, how I could use that knowledge to assist my treatment.

I have tried to corelate the graph to the other variables on the report, but can find no consistency.

The same with runs, I understand what it means, I think, but cannot relate it to the other variables.

Can anyone help. please

The Sandman's predecessor is the Puritan Bennett 420E - and its software is it a newer version of the latter's SilveLining 3.
The wave form reports are what used to be the 420E's "Details" (aka 96 hour) graph.
