Hi
Sandman Software 1.4 on page EN-25 of their manual says -
Cycle state characterising variations in resistance of the upper airways
Does anyone know what this means in plain English, and if I did know what it meant, how I could use that knowledge to assist my treatment.
I have tried to corelate the graph to the other variables on the report, but can find no consistency.
The same with runs, I understand what it means, I think, but cannot relate it to the other variables.
Can anyone help. please
cheers
Mars

Re: Cycle States - Sandman Wave Forms Report
The Sandman's predecessor is the Puritan Bennett 420E - and its software is it a newer version of the latter's SilveLining 3.
The wave form reports are what used to be the 420E's "Details" (aka 96 hour) graph.
So you'll find a very elevant discussion of the subject here:

And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.
