Post by Trinity101 » Fri Apr 24, 2009 10:49 pm

Hi,
OK, before I go and order my software and reader-I just thought of something- is the Encore software Vista 32- compatible?? I figured maybe I should find out now if there are any major hurdles...Thanks for any help.

some have reported problems with the driver for the card reader... I haven't had any problems with it.

For Vista, V1.8 of the Encore Pro software is needed. for encore Viewer, I believe it is Vista compatible, but no sure.

Hi,

I have Encore Pro V1.8 and a Mako DT3500 card reader running without issue under Windows Visa 32 bit. The only start up issue was with the card reader and Forum member 5aces resolved that one for me see this post:

I also have the same hardware and software running under Windows Vista 64 bit but getting it to work is a little more complicated. You need to do the same solution as indicated above for the card reader but you must also add this solution as reported by Forum member gregor in this post:
