complience meter

Post by dels » Tue Apr 21, 2009 8:52 pm

the complience meter on syncrony 2, is that they theraphy hours? Is it indicated with the window with an outline of an upper body? there are two numbers when I turn on, actually three, one is the software version, then one number with no body out line, and that last a second or so, and then another number with an outline of a upper trunk body, they go up by equal amount, ie. five hours on, both numbers go up by five. Thank you. why two separate numbers?

With Respironics machines, the numbers that come up are the firmware version, the "blower hours" (total hours) and then the therapy hours. Typically, the therapy hours can be reset to zero but the blower hours cannot be......unless it's sent back to the factory. The blower hours is another way of being able to tell if someone is trying to sell a machine and claiming it's newer than it actually is.......you can always tell how much use it's had.

All of the hours represent the amount of accumulated time the machine has been on/running/used. The difference in the blower hours and therapy hours would only be different if it's had some "bench time" in the factory or for repairs or testing.....or, if the therapy hours have been reset.
It doesn't know whether or not it has given the "right" therapy.
