Beware the Comfort Full 2/Phillips

Post by Billy6 » Sun Apr 19, 2009 2:00 pm

I use a Comfort Full 2 as my travel mask. On my last trip, the swivel assembly came off when I was cleaning the mask. Unfortunately for me, I was using extremely hot water, and that caused the plastic to expand the assembly fell off. I emailed Phillips and they responded that its virually impossible to reconnect it and I'd be better off getting a new one. So, beware of very hot water when cleaning your mask, and the garbage product quality and customer service of Phillips

Not sure you're being very fair to Philips.

Seems to me they gave you good customer service advice. If the thing is broken, then getting a replacement is about as sensible a suggestion as I can think of. And if you're cleaning plastic parts with very hot water then I think you have to be held responsible for its failure, rather than blaming product quality.

And I don't own Philips shares.
