Do you have to wear it EVERDAY?
Is it possible to be using this machine too much. My days of feeling rested have been going on the decline lately, when I use to feel pretty good in the morning.
Re: Do you have to wear it EVERDAY?
To answer the question in the title of your post, yes you do have to wear it every day. If want some suggestions or ideas about your problem, you should fill in your profile and describe what is happening in some detail.
Re: Do you have to wear it EVERDAY?
Unless you are using it while you are awake, it's not too much.
Yes, every day...or, more likely, every night. Each apnea you have slightly increases your likelihood of stroke or heart attack; not to mention the effects of sleep deprivation.
The alternative is "days of feeling" dead! That may sound alarmist...but it's the truth. CPAP IS that important.

The OSA patient died quietly in his sleep.
Unlike his passengers who died screaming as the car went over the cliff...

Yes, you have to wear it every day.
Are you new to therapy? It's typical to see a downturn in your sleep patterns when you first start out. It takes time to adjust to therapy, and then you "bounce back" and start feeling good results.
Everyone's break in period is different. Mine was about 3 months. Took 8 masks before I could find one I could stand to sleep with all night, every night. Took 3 months worth of Provigil. Took a very understanding work environment.
Good luck and persevere!

Do you have a data capable machine? If so how do your numbers look, are you having leaks? You may need a change in pressures. It would be helpful if you could post your machine, mask and pressures in your profile.

After reading the initial post, who else heard every veteran on the board says "Yes!" in unison?
SleepyBrown,
Every time you sleep, including naps, you should have it on. If you are not feeling well, it could be a multitude of things that might be contributing. It does take some time to adjust to it. I don't even notice it now and can't imagine NOT using it while sleeping... unless my apnea magically cured itself, which is not going to happen.

No, it is not necessary to wear it everyday. You only need to use it on the days you are sleeping.

So that means more than once a day if you take day naps.LoQ wrote:No, it is not necessary to wear it everyday. You only need to use it on the days you are sleeping.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

No, you do not need to wear it everyday... but you do need to wear it every-night.
