Post by Guest » Tue Apr 14, 2009 10:54 pm

Hello everyone!
Some of you might remember me, some not...i hvent been on here in about a year...hd surgery, went off cpap, now just hd my tritration and am going back on it I hope so i can feel better. Its been a rough year, 2 surgeries, and alot of other medical problems..so I hope I can get use to it again, and get back into the :swing" of things.
I have gained lot of weight too from steroids, so that is another thing I have to worry about. But thats just life isnt it?
Let me know how all of you all are doing...nd any encouragement is welcomed!
God Bless
Sherrie from Ky

Welcome back Sherrie. Sounds like you've had a rough time, but let's hope this is the beginning of better things for you. Do you still have your equipment from before, or are you starting over? Let us know how things progress. I'm not sure what surgery you had that took you off cpap (on throat or for weight), but if it was on the throat for OSA, there are others on here who have had it done and would know if there's any challenges unique to that group.

Hope you feel better soon. I did several months on Prednisone last year - must have gained 50 lbs, and have finally taken it off. Now if I could just do the same with the extra weight that's been around too long to blame on Prednisone. The steroids also jacked up my eye pressures and with a new diagnosis of glaucoma, could no longer take the steroids without risking blindness. They are a rough drug to take, but life saving for some.

Hope you are feeling better soon.

Kathy

P.S. Are you the same Sherrie that was registered under gypsy357 or are you a different Sherrie?
