That's a lot of sleeping! Anemia can cause tiredness. Is this a new thing for you to be anemic? While I wouldn't be too concerned about that count alone, I would want to know some whys. Doctors can rule out some things by looking at the rest of the counts in a complete blood count with differential. Maybe you could the doctor to go over the possible causes, and explain how each of the result counts either support or rule out the different causes.

Taking the anemia out of the equation.... when I first got my machine, I found I was sleeping many more hours for several weeks. I attributed it to the years of non sleep I was getting. As time wore on my hours of sleep returned to a more normal amount. I would go to bed at 10 pm and was waking up at noon... I was never a sleep in late person and just figured it was my bodies way of catching up on sleep even though they say you can't really catch up. Just my experience. Start eating high iron foods, can't hurt and may even help. Hang in there!
