Praise for James Skinner's Encore Pro Analyzer!

Post by Fredman » Mon Apr 06, 2009 4:53 pm

Sorry for the very biblical sounding subject line, but I must say that this nice little program has opened my eyes much more widely than there were...Encore Viewer and Pro get the job done but very much in a clinical fashion. I often would look at the peaks and valley and say...I think that is good oooh is that bad? In the end, I would look at my AHI and hope that it was below 2 and if it was I was generally happy.

Now with Encore Pro Analyzer, I can start to build on some knowledge and hopefully start to ask some meaningful questions here. I know we all have to start somewhere and I am constantly amazed by people's knowledge like Rested Gal, Wulfman, Slinky, DSM, Goofproof, Ozij, Rooster and many others.

The more I think about how we are sent packing home from a DME without further followup is dumbfounding. Does a doctor, dentist, optician, opthamalogist and other healthcare folks leave us to fend for ourselves - generally no. RT's and DME's get upset when we become proactive about our treatment - well it's their own fault as they generally don't follow up with their patients. And like many have drawn an analogy to diabetes, we need to monitor on a day to day basis to ensure we stay healthy.

Thanks James for making it a bit more easier with your software. I will be doing a paypal to you my friend you deserve it.
