How Can I make Money? I mean online...

Was thinking on how to make money online.

Even though this might be a somewhat dumb question,
I thought that somebody could direct me in the right direction.

I already did some research and found that
using affiliate programs seems to work.

But how and what, I am somewhat clueless.
